The Liberian Women Protest staged against the United Nation High Commissioner For Refugee (UNHCR) Branch in Accra Ghana, for a thousand dollars to return home after 18years of Exile stay in Ghana or a resettlement option meanwhile reintegration process was denied. The protest which led the Government of Ghana to no other alternative but to strategies a plan on the Liberian women who failed to stop their protest considering it as an illegal protest. Other's were deported back to Liberia base upon the Government Of Ghana decision.
However the situation only came under control where as the Liberian Government got involved in a major campaign finding helping assistance's from Donors Countries to help with the Repatriation process for Her citizens to return to Liberia. It is now that the UNHCR is now promoting a massive repatriation of the Liberian refugees who which to return to theirs Home Country Liberia on a voluntary basis.

BACKGROUND OF THE BUDUBURAM REFUGEE SETTLEMENT

Buduburam Refugee Camp is a One hundred and forty four(144) acres of stretched land inhabited by approximately 45.000 Liberian refugees" who fled the civil carnage which started in December 24 1989. The land is enclosed by private ownership thus making it impossible to farm or carry out any economic activities on such available land for self-sustainability. Considering the huge number of refugees settled on such a small land, this congestion would means that , the people are susceptible to hardship as they partake in little or no economic activity with respect to working the land; they are liable to the contraction of contagious diseases" especially so where public toilets are situated in the midst of clouted houses, inadequate drainages, irregular sewage disposal and a fewer garbage containers (over half of the people use the nearby bushes to defecate). Such poor sanitary conditions pose a very serious threats to the health of the people. Mosquitoes are numerous and malaria is common places. There is a single Clinic" that cater for all of these people. Drugs are basically being supplied by the UNHCR, the UN agency that is solely responsible for these refugees and the nearby Apam Catholic Hospital located in the nearby District of Apam in the Central Region of Ghana. Of course drugs and others services are paid for, when they according to the policy of the UNHCR should be free of charge. About 90per cent of the population are Jobless. The remaining of the 10per cent are laborers , teachers and others own small businesses. These people came to exile with other skills, basically farming, while some have others skills but find it very much difficult to be employed because of their different nationality and their locations which is a good distance away from the Capital and other industrious towns is a disadvantage. Of course internally the people (refugees) are not united. This situations stemmed from the Civil Conflict and has made the population even more tribalism, an act they considered a means to shield themselves from those consider their enemies. This is a little hint of the camp History and I which to feed you with more and more information's when needed.

JESUS IS THE ONLY SOLUTION

I think it is my duty to have my Christian brothers and sisters informed about the project which the "AWCAF" Organization is about to carry out. Well over the years since this Organization was founded, The accommodation or dwelling place for the little children have been in existence long since before the building was taken over by the Organization. Now it been very long and these children still lives in these deplorable buildings and there is not much to be done for the renovation cost as well as the sanitations problem. I believe there is no much attentions given to these needy Orphans on the Buduburam Refugee Camp, as to helping to uplift and improve the life's of these kids.

Now Why Considered Jesus The Solutions
Let us all remember what Jesus said in the Book of John 14:6
I 'm the way the truth and the life" No one comes to the father accept through me "

Therefore, hereafter" It is believing that, there is a way for which the solutions of these old scraped building can be brought back to it normality. All you need to do is check the chat below to be able to give what is been desire to give on your heart". Remember for every $(10.00)USD, you give toward this project' there's gonna to be a multiplication of it returns.

It is about time that you and I believes in helping the most needy children all around the world and understand their cries for help!! ..

Other Business Centers and Offices were demolished and not given any assistances as to be relocated or conpensited. Meanwhile the work which is still in progress seemed to have more impact and effects on homes and other important places. The work many consider a good thing" have a lot of demages caused! The project which is sponsored by the (UNHCR) was given to the (NCS) an implimenting partners to be carry out through out the settlement. With all of the losses of Homes, Businesses And Offices the Authorities says" they will continue to persue aims to have the work finish before the fift of October 2008.

AFRICA'S WOMEN AND CHILDREN ASSISTANCE FOUNDATION(AWCAF) ORGANIZATION

BRIEF HISTORY

Women and children are the most affected people in any given disasters, be it man made or natural. During the Civil Crisis of the first cease fire in Liberia, which affected almost every Liberian" for which am no exception, Women were seen as media of sex in the name of food for the survival of their children. Children were abandon by parents due to the lack of food and shelter. Mothers were been force into sex trade for the support of the young ones. Love and passion for humanity led me in organizing a plan to meet the needs of these less fortunate women and abandoned children. We began by soliciting through a project dubbed " Food For Work". Food gathered from the work is distributed among the people. Through this many that were subjected to object poverty through war were given hope. Expansion: the program was extended into empowering skills training for women and academic for the children. Through volunteers and good will people materials were made available for the construction of hostels for the women and children. Ever since 1990, to present the operation has effected positively the lives of many women and children across the sub Sahara regions include: Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Togo, Guinea, and Ghana were women are exported for sexual trade. Quietly recently, about three years ago now the Agricultural sector has been added for the sustainability of the project. We now do poetry farming, Crops farming, and now contemplating on Rubber farming in Liberia. We are trusting in God that this will meet and transform lives.

COLLECTIVES FARMING

The need to sustain the Organization and to keep to its functions and goals. Give rise to the implementation of farming both in Crops and Live stocks. Secondly, AWCAF through its agricultural activities provide for the needy women and children from the sales of produce. As a way of empowerment. We train and provide farming materials for women and beneficiaries of our skills training programs. In 2006, about 60 women benefited from our skills training and empowerment programs. In the Republic Of Sierra Leone, 45 women are currently self employed through the applications of skills acquired from the organization.

The organization is not only training people in farming alone but have other areas of discipline to include: Beauty Care, Catering, Adult Literacy, Tailoring etc. With our limited resources, we crave for the betterment of people and especially in the area of developing and transforming them for the improvement of their lives and communities and more over, the continent of Africa. The future of the women and children has become an eminent issues in the World over. Considering the fact that they are always victims of disasters and other perpetuated crimes in Africa. The organization also offered trauma Counseling the to its clients in support of their well being. The counseling serves as a prerequisites to the identifying of people who are to be eligible for the assistance render. It also identify the medical need of the people and make referral to either the Psychiatric Hospital or the Clinic for treatments. Members are carry through spiritual enlightenment with the idea that things will be well not matter what. And any assistance received is by the divine provision of God.
